Telephone lines are available from 08:30 until 18:30. 

Emergency calls to the Practice between 08:00 and 08:30 and 18:00 and 18:30 will be dealt with by a GP in the Practice. 

Outside of these times please contact 111 to speak with NHS 111.

Our nurses can provide the following services: cervical smears, dressings, child immunisations, ear syringing, vaccinations and travel advice/vaccinations. The nurses also run specialist clinics for asthma, diabetes, heart disease and hypertension. Consultations with the Practice Nurses are by appointment only.

Practice Manager

Our Practice Manager is responsible for the administration of the Practice.

The midwife’s responsibility is the care of pregnant women ante-natally, during labour, delivery and post-natally. Pregnant women are seen either at home or in the surgery on a Tuesday, by prior arrangement with the midwife. She will pass on her contact details to the patient when she sees her at the first consultation.

The district nurses provide nursing care, advice and support to those patients who are recently discharged from hospital or too ill to attend surgery. They are no longer based at Fairfield. If you need to contact them, please ring 783634.

The health visitors are responsible for child health, health promotion and development of children under five years old. The health visitors can be contacted on 01554 778705.
